2024 Bertin-Delatte Argonette (Grolleau), Loire, Vin de France Hubert Lamy 2007 was David’s last vintageArgonette is the estates light, chill friendly red made from Grolleau and bottled as Vin de France. The fruit comes from their tiny Anjou domaine in Rablay sur Layon, farmed organically with a minimal intervention mindset. Fermentation is with native yeasts and a gentle extraction to keep the tannins fine, followed by levage in tank; its bottled unfined and unfiltered with only a very small sulfur addition. The 2024 shows crunchy red fruit, peppery
