but once turned another way it's straight (i don't know the origins of this one at all)

made from beech wood (i think) with an original 1960s fabric top in swirls of orange and brown

The base is white ceramic (possibly Royal Doulton or Casa Pupo) the shade has been professionally made using some amazing 1960s waffle textured cotton fabric which i think is French
