1963 Color Print Longuemare Hermit Intact Catasetum Orchid Mexico Wildlife HMX1 AEF3 Landsgemeindeplatz"Phaethornis Longuemareus" This is an original 1963 color print by Rafael Montes de Oca of two members of the Phaethornis Longuemareus family, more commonly known as the Longuemare Hermit. With an average length of 94 mm., the feathers around the ears are dark purple, and the rump is chestnut. The tail feathers are of graduated lengths and are jointly fan shaped, with chestnut extremities. The beak is long and slightly curved, black above and yellow
