These awesome hats were issued as part of the C1 survival vest kit toward the end of the war

US Navy 1950s USS Acme Cap Shoulder to cuff 24"Whilst its hard to date exactly, I believe this beauty of a cap would have been made in Japan in the late 1950s for an officer sailining on the USS Acme. This is a great example of a 50s Japanese made cap, with a wool outer, cotton lining, and coloured seam tape. Condition In beautiful condition. There is a little light fading to the wool, but largely very nice Size Fits around a modern 7 1 4 Approx 57cm inside the brim
