The wine is aged in 500-liter barrels for about 9 months on the sediment

then aged 12 months in barrel and a further 6 months in tank before a light fining and very light filtration if needed

Bottling is controlled at 51

2020 Stefano Occhetti Roero 'Riserva Occhetti' Nebbiolo, Roero DOCG, Italy Guillot-Broux Typical of their redsFrom Stefano's family vineyard planted in 1945, planted by his Grandfather. These are low yielding nebbiolo vines planted in Roero's famously sandy soils. 2020 is the first time the oldest vines have been separated out to make this Riserva bottling.
