Early 20th Century Royal Navy Midshipman's Bicorne civil This piece features simple blackc. 1910s; GJ Chapman Plymouth Antique WWI British Navy two cornered cocked hat in painted tin case If the name on the case is anything to go off of, then this hat was worn by J. T. Mathews, a Royal Navy officer. It is constructed of black beaver skin and features roughly hewn wool embellishments. Exhibts minor signs of wear indicative of use and case shows some scratches.
