1894 Theater Actor Denman Thompson Margaret Kendal - ORIGINAL STAGE2 GUN1 This is an original 1924Denman Thompson. He was an author and actor and his most famous work was "Joshua Whitcomb" also known as "The Old Homestead." On the reverse: Mrs. Margaret Kendal. She was born in Great Grimsby, England in 1848 and married actor William Hunter Kendal in 1869. Playing together, they were successful on both sides of the Atlantic.
