1929 Photogravure Angkor Cambodia Ta Phrom Buddhist Temple Silk Cotton Trees XGIC9 All AshoreThis is an original 1929 photogravure of the temple ruins of Ta Phrom in Angkor, Cambodia (Kampuchea). Ta Phrom was built in the 12th century. Silk cotton trees grow out of the ruins and create a jungle like atmosphere. The temple was partially used during the filming of "Tomb Raider" in 2001. The photographer of this image is Dr. Martin Hrlimann of Berlin, Germany. His photographs were largely composed of cities and civilizations, and taken mostly
