Late 19th Century Door Bell sessions Exhibits small spots of tarnishEmbossed brass announcement bell. This piece features early Art Nouveau embellishments across its wide, domed cap. It is a precursor to what we now know as doorbells, which themselves are beginning to be phased out in favor of Ring and Nest Cams. But I digress; both pieces included here would have been wall mounted next to each other at a front door. The smaller piece with the lever would have been pulled up and let go so the porcelain knob would
