Soft Blue Hills and Radiant Yellow Sky Reflected in Water, Lovely Earlyish 20th C. Watercolor in Original Frame painted wooden horse with natural bristles--horsehair I believe--and

with natural bristles--horsehair I believe--and a handy hook on the end for hanging near the work bench

which appears quite old

and I know they date to between 1952-54

which I believe was helped to stay in place with a couple of dabs of glue at some point

with the pencil drawn guides for the wonderfully boxy and also a bit Metropolis-futuristic feeling lettering still very much evident

Watercolor in Original Frame painted wooden horse with natural bristles--horsehair I believe--andFound in Maine though a sticker on the back indicated framed in Pennsylvania this is an unfussy and really quite luminous watercolor, early 20th century I believe. Just the sort that is a joy to live with, and would very much hold its own amid a salon style wall of painted landscapes, say. Very soft feeling but rather electric too. 12" x 8" framed, under glass in a period frame, as found. Lovely condition.
