Possibly one of the most romantic helmets, usually found in connection to the New World. In truth the Spaniards used a slightly different style, without a Comb but a higher crown. COMB MORIONS were used all over Europe especially in the various German States, England, France and Italy. Those from the City of Nuremberg (Nrnberg) very often had raised panels on each side, often "Fleur de Lis" designs. The raised panels were
