Recently purchased at a military show, this is an excellent lightly used condition WWII production black finished leather holster for the standard issue Walther P 38 pistol in 9mm. It is nicely marked bml 44 between the belt loops, indicating 1944 manufacture by Hans Rmer in Neu Ulm (Donau), Germany. This was a known maker of holsters and other military accoutrements during the war, according to GERMAN MILITARY
