19 3/8” t x 10 3/16” w x 5 1/2” d and in good condition

I really love the bird and would use it for tea bags

It's a bit hard to photograph--the dark squares on the front are a deep burgandy-brown stain

with a backside to my eye (less the tape) as beautiful as the front

One certainly imagines these were modeled after specific houses--if only I had an entire town's worth

I purchased her from a dealer in my neck of the woods with really exceptional things all pretty much all beyond my reach, but this came along with a much more elaborate 17th c. stumpwork, which was his interest, and so I was able to attain her and I do feel as though she travelled across nearly four hundred years and an ocean just to be found by me! I mean, look at those hands! This is a fragment from a c. mid 17th century English stump work
