This is a very nice example of a Pre WWII Fireman's Dress Bayonet, produced by the legendary Solingen based firm Carl Eickhorn between 1933 and 1935. These were worn by members of the Civic Feuerwehr (Fire Department) for dress and parade occasions. The bayonet is in very good condition, with the nickel hilt plating bright mostly throughout, and remaining about 90% intact. The grip plates are the checkered black
