This is an unusually interesting Danish or Norwegian military flintlock Jger rifle combining early Scandinavian lock and stock features with a later pillar breech, or tige, alteration. It retains its separate safety dog, five groove rifled barrel, sword bayonet mounting stud, two leaf folding rear sight, sliding wooden patch box, both sling swivels, and a massive iron ramrod with a cupped loading head. The barrel and
