This is a very nice little hunting rifle in approximately . 43 caliber, made in the typical German 19th century design. The butt plate, barrel tang and lock plate fully decorated with sculpting and engravings. The lock appears to depict a wolf at bay, and the barrel tang a Stag at rest. It features all iron mounts, which are all ornately engraved. It measures 44 1 2 inches in overall length, with a very nice 28 inch
