This rare early production helmet is a fine example and still retains all of its original WW2 parts and paint (with exception of shell chinstrap)

The interior of the helmet bear the initials PFM

It appears to be a 46" Barreled Brown Bess with a King George marked flintlock

After joining a convoy off Norfolk on 13 October

assigning inexperienced and ineffective bureaucrats to handle their needs

This is a very nice French Bugle, made in Belgium for use during WWI. It is of perfectly standard brass and copper construction, very similar to British Bugles of the period. All of the markings are however in French, so we assume it was supplied there prior to the outbreak of WWI.
