Not much is known of this officer except that on April 16th 1947 he was confirmed as a full Submarine Lieutenant from being an "acting" Submarine Lieutenant by King George VI as this was reported in the LONDON GAZETTE in November 1948

Fitted with an eleven inch blade the dark wood grip is fully carved and inset with silver studs

On December 23 it attacked from the south and overran the 325th GIR holding the Baraque- Fraiture crossroads on the 82nd’s southern flank

Yellowed with age there is some small old damage to the left margin which has been repaired using ancient scotch tape
