Western was known to have made some of the finest fighting knives of WW2. Although they never had any major government contracts they sold thousands of knives through private and unit purchases. One of the most well known was this example here, the L76. It features a double edged "stiletto" blade, similar to "commando" knives issued to many fighting forces during WWII. The Marine Corps had considered it, but did not
