with initials in block letters on both sides and a mix of swirls across the top and a pice of old cloth tape at one one corner-altogether looking like it got a lot of use over a bunch of years

would originally have been a decorative pane on a large clock

which I know from experience is a very rare thing indeed

made in the 1940s or so by a Richard King from Minnesota

He was constructed as a jig figure, to be held up and danced on a platform, as his legs move backward but not forward at his knees. I really love his geometric facial features, carved in relief and colored orange, which give his a bit of a Mr. Potato Head aspect, while
