I have not touched the wood at all on this piece

The exterior shows some variegations in the glaze and light crazing

with red tree at center and ambiguous

but a lovely small double-sided drawing I think they together make

and some wear to the paint on hats and legs

Plus dangling locks of sorts on either end. At 27 1 2" long, it would be a fun one to hang from a couple of nails snaking across the wall.
