Very nice condition early 20th century Spanish American War New York National Guard 22nd Regiment Dress Shako helmet. The pressed, black felt is in very good condition. The leather front visor shows a bit of crazing, while the crown shows next to none. The interior leather sweatband has slight wear but is still quite supple. The front features a brass plate denoting the 16th Regiment, Defendant N. G. S. N. Y, and
