This is a rare example of an original U. S. Marine Corps M1917 "Doughboy" helmet shell, and is one of only a few that we had had, as they are very hard to come by. The helmet features a large painted EGA (Eagle, Globe, Anchor) insignia in red with a blue border. The helmet has a full liner and chinstrap.
