This is an excellent example of an original WWI Model 1916 holster for the Model 1911 . 45 Automatic Service Pistol. This holster is maker marked G. & K. for Graton & Knight Manufacturing Co., Worcester, Mass. This holster was made in 1918 and inspected by W. J. D.. Graton & Knight made many of these holsters for WWI and WWII, however the 1918 date along with the brass belt clip indicates this is definitely a WW1
