Coto de Gomariz, The Flower and the Bee Souson, Ribeiro, Galicia, Spain Maury Producer - Domaine des Roche’sRicardo Carreiro and winemaker, Xose Lois Sebio are producing wines from little known Galician varietals and here we have Souson. Grown in a little microclimate next to the Avia river with the Atlantic influence aiding them. Most wine from Galicia is white but the Flower and the Bee red is made from Souson, a local variety also grown over the border in Portugal. Sappy, juicy, deep in colour but light on its feet, it is great drinking over the spring
