Young Caeser (?) Painted Plaster Bust with Metal Laurel Crown coffee service with gold figure and silverI have no idea the story behind this plaster bust, but I think it's wonderful. I love how completely androgynous the figure is, who I take for a young Roman, perhaps Julius Caesar himself, crowned with metal laurel wreath but really I think it could be anyone one wants, and without the crown reminds me a lot of an old Santos figure. The figure's face itself transforms a little, too, depending on point of view, so he, or she, or they, remain always a
