Elsie Zimmerman's Full of Character Graphite Chair Drawing, c. 1930s old drawing pencils though perhaps at least someoneThis chair was one of a handful of school drawings found in Lancaster County PA by a young Elsie Zimmerman, c. 1930s I believe. I've come to recognize standard programs of drawing exercises for grade school students during various decades, and have had one other chair drawing of a similar ilk to this one, which I believe was part of the program during that period, an exercise in perspective I believe. I love it very much as a stand alone drawing one
