but have a special fondness for ones like these that clearly represent a consuming interest of their maker

The color is terrifc on this

but I can't discern the rest of the letters

And then what I think is a tiny little duck at his feet

Tall Wooden Arm and Hand (Mold?) postcard with drawing The image itself was createdI'm guessing this was probably made as a mold, but I'm not completely sure. While fairly crudely done, I like it as a gesture of a raised hand, as if saying "I know the answer" and forever waiting to be called upon! 17 1 4" t x 6 1 2" w x 3 1 8" d (at base). Very good condition, pine I believe, with some darkening to the wood near the end of the arm.
