This is an excellent condition example of a WWII Issue Carry Case for the M1 Carbine, officially known as the "United States Carbine, Caliber . 30, M1." This case was intended for transporting the rifle easily when in non combat areas, keeping it free from dirt and wear. This example is marked under the top flap: R. B. HANSON MFG. CO. 1944, and is made of OD Green #7 Canvas, which has just a bit of storage wear as
