Very gentle for sensitive skins and they just get softer with every wash. A very versatile and highly practical cloth. We have a little stash of these to use as washable baby wipes with a bowl of warm water and a few drops of tea tree oil. So much easier to clean up a messy bum than using thousands of wipes! As with all new cotton fabrics they should be pre washed at least 3 4 times
