This is a rare example of a genuine British Brodie Mark II steel helmet that is dated 1944 on the liner. The white paint on the shell appears to be in very good condition and it looks to have been field painted. Shell is overall in great shape with no major issues. The original liner is in good condition and is marked on one of the main supports: CCL I I 1944 CCL is the code for Christy & Co Ltd., a known maker from
