This is a classic example of a WWII German Officers black leather great coat with military features. It is nicely broken in, showing a good amount of period wear. The coat features a fur lining and two Hauptmann (Captain) Epaulets Shoulder boards. The jacket has all period pebbled buttons. There was once a tag under the collar but it has since faded away.
