This a very nice example of a WWII Iron Cross First Class 1939, with a non magnetic brass core, flat design, and straight pin attachment. It is maker marked with lieferant (supplier) number 15 on the pin, which represents Friedrich Orth of Wien (Vienna). The medal is in very fine condition. The silver plate is retained quite well, with lots of speckled patination, and the black paint on the background is quite nice,
