The parts (including wings and floats) have been finally identified (April 2008) as belonging to two E14Y1 "Glen" floatplanes

We usually have to get a resin mock up or modify another magazine to fit

The slide itself has "ears" which project down on each side of the base to help prevent damage to the leaf it is struck from the side

L.), complete with the rare original plated hammered brass scabbard. This is a very nice gently worn example, with a very nice double fullered carbon steel blade. Additionally, it also has an original portepee tied in the correct Naval style,
