This wonderful example comes complete with all German WWII issue parts including a very rare bakelite butt-stock

with lots of original finish and some gentle wear marks

Small ammunition boxes rested on the top of the turret and additional ammunition belts fed the turret by means of a chute system

Of particular note is that the interior is stamps with his laundry mark K-8351

These were unfortunately considered too short to combat soldiers on horseback, with only an 18" blade. In 1879 an improved 25 3 4" bladed Saw back Bayonet with a single bar handguard was adopted, replacing the shorter P 1875 bayonet.
