I'm really smitten with this sweet little hand-painted German porcelain figurine of a pink cheeked

I know that it came from a portfolio of drawings dated 1929

Much more recently he gained a black painted wooden base into which the metal post at his bottom end will fit

Super Folky Rainbow Striped Doll with Starry Eyes wooden cutout figure with showrooms in New YorkWhoever made this charmer threw everything but the kitchen sink inside of it I think, there's some crinkling of what what I think are plastic bags inside the legs, and something that feels kind of like a small hot water bottle inside the torso, which makes its back stand up straight (and perhaps it once made a squeak, I don't know)! The person who sold it to me thought depression era; I'm not completely sure, but it most certainly has a make do
