From August 12 to 16 the 307th supported the invasion of southern France known as Operation Anvil

The tunic is made out of lightweight Herringbone Twill (HBT) material which has been dyed a darker olive/tan

There is a bit of soiling in the creases but overall the arm band is bright and in very good condition

held in place to two ramrod pipes

The bayonet has a 23" blade with an overall length of 28"

Gun is in very good used condition and fully functional, with a lovely patina. Action and barrel frame lock up are tight. The address marking is still fully legible on the top of the barrel: ADDRESS COL. SAML COLT NEW YORK U. S. AMERICA. The COLT'S PATENT marking is still fully visible on the left
