which I purchased from a mostly mid-century dealer with a really nice eye

but the kindly looking donkey upon which he is perched seems much more interested in his little dog friend than in turning around to help

Feels a bit like a Rorschach test is one partial to the apple or the pear? 7" x 5". A few stray ink marks smudges as documented, overall good condition.
