river and sky actually made me think immediately of the paintings of Thomas Hart Benton and John Steuart Curry (apt as I found this en route to Kansas City) to come many years later

and very charming

I love it as an object and would indeed be inclined to hang it on the wall

I'd guess 1920s-30s or so

I never cease to be amazed by the wealth of crafty objects people used to make

Sweet Little Robin in Winter Painting, Oil with Glitter Snow on Board slatted stool river and sky actually madeA little one, but a sweet one, with this this little bird, which I take for a Robin, seeming like a beacon of spring hopefulness amid a snowy landscape. There is some sparkle to the snow from paint or a clear coat with some white flakes suspended in it like glitter. 4 1 4" x 2 1 2" and in very good condition, on cardboard art board. I'd guess earlyish 20th c.
