This is really a great sword, with great history! It is clearly a family sword, utilizing an older early 18th Century blade of 32 1 2 inches in length, with three narrow fullers on each side. The blade is unsigned but of great quality. The stirrup style hilt guard is heavily Gilt brass with most of the gilding remaining, fitted with Sharkskin grip, secured by triple stranded copper interwoven wires. Overall length of the
