This is a very nice condition U. S. Marine Corps tan color "Bell Crown" visor cap, intended to be worn by Enlisted Men for winter dress. The name comes from the pronounced flare out towards the top of the cap. This cap is heavier than the summer khaki, and is constructed of heavy wool fabric stretched over a wicker inner frame. It is a great WWI khaki color, which has more tan than later variants used in WWII. The
