This example has a beautiful original metal chrome case with stainless steel push back

but turned out to be a failure - sliding dual-magazine housing was a constant source of jams and failures

This Army Dove Head Sword is a very nice example, with some interesting features that we usually do not see. The hilt of this example looks to be nickel, or possibly brass or zinc with a very sturdy nickel plating. It looks to at one time have been gilt, and the nickel under the gold would have made it very attractive. The dove head and backstrap are engraved with oak leaves and acorns, a common decoration used on
