Bade measures 66 5/8" Inches tall x 10 7/8 Inches wide and weigh approximately 65 lbs

This marking indicates the dagger was made by RZM Dagger contractor "81"

but we have no way to verify how it was damaged

The leather scabbard is in fantastic condityion and appears to have been paired with this knife for quite awhile

This is a very nice service used example of a standard issue black leather hardshell holster for the Luger Pistole 08 (P. 08), which was used by German forces during WWI & WWII. Towards the end of WWI the standard color for pistol holsters was changed from brown to black, and that continued through the WWII Period. The holster looks to have been modified to use a shoulder strap at some point, now removed, however the
