This is a nice example of a German Krimschild metal shield award, which has been removed from a uniform, so at present there is no fabric included. The shield is in very good shape, and looks to be made of blacked brass with steel hooks on the back. It retains the finish very well, and has a lovely patina with just a bit of oxidation.
