Incredibly Constructed Victorian Leather and Woven Wicker Sewing Basket with Brass Hardware glasses tin plus the Blacksmith shopI think the construction on this antique sewing basket c. 1887, based on one other example I've found out there with a registration sticker still attached is just amazing, making it feel like the Gucci of baskets! With leather wrapped bentwood around the two sides where they meet the center section, brass hardware and handle for carrying, fat strips of raffia straw braided and woven through a wicker structure, and a flat wooden bottom. The overall
