Recently purchased at an estate sale, this is a very nice condition WWII production black pebble grain finished leather holster for the standard issue Walther P 38 pistol in 9mm. It is nicely marked bml 44, indicating 1944 manufacture by Hans Rmer in Neu Ulm (Donau), Germany. This was a known maker of holsters and other military accoutrements during the war, according to GERMAN MILITARY LETTER CODES 1939 1945 by John
