19th Century Nicely Awkward Botanical Watercolor pewter ice cream mold nearly 200 years oldI believe this one was done by the same young girl as the miniature watercolor of two women I just listed, and has a similar warmth about it. At the very bottom, in very faint pencil, looks to be the same of the plant depicted, but I can't quite make it out. I really like it for its awkwardness, with this tiny, tight yellow bloom just floating in space, and the pink flowers on their stem floating, too, over this large brown leaf I guess it is a leaf,
