It has the original khaki cloth headband and the khaki body is undamaged

Included with this fine sword is an original hand written letter with it's original stamped envelope dated the 30th August

Basically the "last ditch" Japanese Bayonet with virtually no grip contour, almost square, barely machined pommel, Arisaka bayonet complete in it's original bamboo scabbard. Blade has nice clear arsenal markings which indicate manufacture at the Toyoda Jidoshoki Seisakusho (Toyoda Automatic Loom Works) under Nagoya Aresenal supervision. Totally un cleaned and un restored, pommel has old dried
