The box measures 4 1/4” in diameter x 2 1/2” tall

as the lid sits at just the slightest bit off square (maybe 1-2 degrees)

as well as larger scale site-specific collaborations with architects and builders (including for the interior of the Eastern Airlines building at Kennedy International Airport

It is very faintly stamped Sierra Leone on the bottom and I believe dates to the 1920s or so

at whose estate sale I found it—that it was something—and I was right

They are hand numbered in pencil at top center (this one is 4; the highest number of them is 43, so there were once a whole lot of these). My guess is that they were a (well done) art design school exercise, but at some point, also in pencil, prices ranging from 60 (. 60) to 1. 75 were added at top right, reiterated with hand
