Books shaped flasks like this were quite a thing during prohibition (I'm including a photo of a woman with one in hand) and this is a very fine example in wonderful condition

Moody and cozy feeling, just like the Dutch countryside. 9" x 5 5 8". Oil on board, uncleaned and a bit dirty, but overall good condition. The piece of clear tape on reverse is not a patch, just left over from a tag attached.
